What happens when the internet goes down?
Nothing changes. Heka SoftLink runs on a server inside your hospital, and every computer reaches it over your own network. Registration, notes, results and payments carry on without an internet connection, and the licence activates offline too.
Where is our patient data kept?
On your server, in your building. We do not host your records. Encrypted backups are taken every night to a second disk.
Does it work with NHIA and DHIMS2?
Private insurers and company accounts are fully supported today, with a claim checker that catches what vetting would reject before a claim is sent. DHIMS returns laid out from your own records are next on our roadmap. NHIS claims are not yet supported; ask us about our plans.
How long does implementation take?
It depends on the modules you choose and the size of your facility. We install the system, set up your departments, price lists and staff accounts, train every role, and stay with you through go-live. You get a timeline at your demo.
Can you migrate data from our existing system?
Yes. Your product and stock lists import from a spreadsheet, and every row is checked in a preview before anything is saved. Our team works with you on moving your other records.
What languages does the system support?
The interface is in English today. Printed patient instructions in Twi, Ga, Ewe, Dagbani and Hausa, checked by a fluent member of your staff, are on our roadmap.
Do you provide training and support?
Yes. Every deployment includes on-site training for all staff roles, ongoing remote support, and regular check-ins after go-live.
What is the pricing model?
A subscription for your facility, priced by the modules you choose and your size: staff accounts and beds. Add modules or beds later without reinstalling. Contact us for a quote.
